Outdoor housing made of halogen-free, glass fiber reinforced polyester composite material (mechanically less sensitive than steel or stainless steel, cheaper than V4A stainless steel, more resistant than stainless steel in maritime environments) High-quality materials with first-class properties. Thanks to their durability and resistance to chemical substances, the housings, which are designed with protection class IP55-IP66, are particularly suitable for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as for use in solar systems, photovoltaic systems, substations and in general outdoor areas.

For outdoor use, we recommend - especially for housings with a high degree of protection - to avoid condensation the use of pressure compensation elements (shop search with "DAE") While there are no specific standards for verifying service life, it is estimated that the service life of glass fiber reinforced plastic housings is around thirty years under standard conditions. We also recommend annual maintenance to check the condition of hinges, screws and gaskets and general components. GRP housings can also be painted over or painted over with suitable colors - we will be happy to help you if necessary!
